The symptoms of early pregnancy can vary greatly from woman to woman.
Some women experience mild implantation cramping several days after ovulation, while others do not.

What are the symptoms of fertilization?
Many early pregnancy symptoms can appear similar to routine pre-menstrual discomforts.
- Tender, swollen breasts. Your breasts may provide one of the first symptoms of pregnancy.
- Slight bleeding or cramping.
- Nausea with or without vomiting.
- Food aversions or cravings.
- Mood swings.
How many weeks pregnant are you after embryo transfer?
So although you may have taken the first pregnancy test just two weeks after treatment, you would be considered four weeks pregnant. The first early pregnancy ultrasound is usually scheduled for you between six to seven weeks Gestational Age, roughly four to five weeks from your IUI or embryo transfer.
What happens after an egg is fertilized?
Most eggs are fertilized by sperm while still in the fallopian tube. The fertilized egg then travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus. This can take 1-2 days. When the egg reaches the uterus, it may attach itself to the uterine lining (the endometrium) and pregnancy will begin.
How long does implantation process take?
This is when the sperm joins the egg and fertilization takes place. About 7-14 days after you have had sex, implantation will occur—the fertilized egg will attach itself to the lining of your uterus. About 1/3 of women will have some bleeding when implantation takes place.

Some women may notice symptoms as early as 5 DPO, although they won’t know for certain that they are pregnant until much later. Can you still get pregnant if the sperm comes out?
You can get pregnant if you have intercourse and a male releases his sperm inside of your vagina. This is because the fluid that comes out of the penis before ejaculation may have leftover sperm (from a previous ejaculation). You can even become pregnant if you don’t have vaginal intercourse!
How does your lower stomach feel in early pregnancy?
If this is your first pregnancy, you may just feel bloated, kind of like after a big meal. But some women have a little baby-belly pooch by the end of the first trimester. After all, your uterus is now the size of a grapefruit. At your next exam, your doctor will be able to feel the top of it.
